The following licence came into effect from noon today:

General Licence No.20 - General licence for the movement of foot-and-mouth disease susceptible animals for farming/husbandry operations within a premises or single farm business up to 8km.

Also in development is General Licence No.21 - General licence for the movement of pigs in the restricted zone for welfare purposes.  This will allow the movement of pigs along the ~pig pyramid~ up to a maximum of 50km, or 100km if the destination premises are empty. We do not have the finished text of this licence but will forward this as soon as it becomes available.
