Marketing & Export Opportunities for UK Beef - Webinar POSTPONED DUE TO HAY MAKING - NEW DATE TO BE CONFIRMED

9th July 2021

Region: National

This month AHDB has teamed up with the National Beef Association to update beef farmers and breed societies on the work AHDB is delivering for them and the beef sector. In particular, the webinar will focus on the latest consumer focussed marketing campaign; We Eat Balanced. The campaign is all about driving a positive rethink when it comes to including red meat and dairy products as part of a balanced diet and it provides reassurance around the health benefits both of which offer. Christine Watts, AHDB’s Chief Communications Officer will talk through the background to the campaign, what promotional activity is coming up and also explain how you can get involved.

Next on the agenda will see Phil Hadley, AHDB’s Director of International Market Development, provide an update on the latest exports work the team are doing. With market access in over 50 countries, it is imperative to keep finding more trade markets to add value to the supply chain, as well as maintain relationships with existing markets.

The third speaker on the webinar will be Tom Forshaw, a Senior Analyst in the market intelligence team at AHDB. Tom will provide a brief summary on the insight data behind the latest trade deals and will provide a calculated forecast on the impact this will have on the industry. There will also be time allocated at the end of the webinar to ask questions to the speakers and find out more information. With the ongoing social, economic and political change within the industry, the team at AHDB recognise the importance of showcasing the great work being done to make sure the Great British Beef sector has a bright future ahead. Please register now for your free place and details will be sent to you via email. If you can’t make the webinar, you can still register, and we will send you a link to watch the recording afterwards.
