Martin Jenkins from AHWP joins us to discuss: 

• The Annual Health and Welfare Review that will soon be opening up for more farmers to register their interest
•  It will give cattle keepers funding for a 2-3 hour review with a vet of their choice, plus pay for BVD testing
•  It is designed with farmers and vets, so it’s straightforward and flexible
• At this stage it will be open to cattle keepers with more than 10 cattle (as well as sheep and pig keepers)
• For now they’re asking for farmers who are eligible for BPS, but that is due to change
• The next steps for the SFI annual health and welfare review - Future Farming (blog.gov.uk) 

Kath Aplin from Boehringer will also be on hand to offer their expert advice & to answer any questions about BVD vaccination
