In areas of the country where grain maize (not maize silage) can be successfully grown it should be given serious consideration by beef finishers. In 2010 we finished some bulls on grain maize and recorded our best ever finishing performance. Grain maize is rocket fuel for bulls! A summary of the results is shown in the attached pdf.
