The Red Ruby Devon is the supreme grass-to-beef machine.  Typically carcasses achieve 300-340kg at +/- 24months and the beef is of exceptional eating quality.  The suckler cow is possible one of the most economic of all beef breeds.  She  needs absolutely no supplementary feeding, and averages 14 calves in her lifetime.
